About Lesley Headland
Leslye Headland (born 1980) is an American film and television director, screenwriter, and playwright, known for her sharp, character-driven storytelling. She gained early recognition with her play Bachelorette, which she later adapted into a 2012 film. In 2015, she wrote and directed the acclaimed film Sleeping with Other People. Headland has also directed episodes of popular television series such as Heathers, where she served as an executive producer, Blunt Talk starring Patrick Stewart, as well as SMILF and Black Monday. Her work consistently pushes creative boundaries across multiple genres.
